About Cablemakers

We make the cable
we would wire our
own house with.

Cablemakers (Private) Limited manufactures and supplies flexible wiring cable from Graniteside, Harare, to installers, hardware stores and contractors across Zimbabwe.

The cable trade here has a reputation problem, and it is an earned one. Short rolls. Undersized conductors. Colour coding that drifts halfway through a run. An electrician finds out on site, with the ceiling already open.

We built this business around the opposite habit. Measure it, print what it actually is, and let the customer check. It is not a clever differentiator — it is just the job done properly.

What we hold ourselves to

01
Measured length
Every coil measured before it leaves the floor.
02
Full cross-section
Conductor size matches the print, strand for strand.
03
600/1000V insulation
Rated PVC on the multicore and solar ranges.
04
Consistent colours
Standard coding held through the whole run.
